Description
MSA certifies that the gas mixture in each cylinder has been prepared gravimetrically, using NIST™ traceable weights.
- For calibration of MSA instruments, each cylinder lists the proper instrument response settings
- For calibration of other manufacturers' instruments, each calibration cylinder lists the actual gas fill in the cylinder
- A lot number and nominal value of the gas constituents is reported on each cylinder label in percent by volume, percent by mass, ppm mass or volume
- The uncertainty statement of the specified nominal value is also listed
