Mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) have the ability to self-renew and differentiate into cells of various connective tissue lineages, such as bone, cartilage, fat, and neurons. The potential of MSCs to maintain multipotency and proliferate extensively in vitro provides new avenues for cell-based therapy in the restoration of damaged or diseased tissue.

  • Each lot is tested for its ability to attach and spread on standard tissue culture grade plastic surfaces and proliferate in Mesenchymal Stem Cell Growth Medium
  • Each lot is characterized for bone mineralization and lipid accumulation following differentiation using osteoblast and adipocyte differentiation media, repectively
  • Each lot tested negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi
