- Routinely used for attachment and maintenance of human embryonic stem cells (hESC)
- Human ESCs have specific needs for attachment and maintenance and some lots of basement membrane extract may not provide adequate support
- Geltrex™ hESC-qualified reduced growth factor basement membrane matrix has been tested for support of hESC growth and pluripotency, therefore minimizing the need to test multiple lots
- Consistent manufacturing processes help ensure a protein concentration averaging 15 mg/mL with very little variation from lot-to-lot
