Further, it is used to replace methyl mercaptan as a jet fuel additive. It finds application in artificial flavoring agent and a corrosion inhibitor. Solubility
Miscible with ethanol, ethyl ether, alcohol, most organic solvents and oils. Slightly miscible with water.
