Applications
Cerium(IV) sulfate is a redox indicator and is used in analytical chemistry for redox titrations. In ionized form, ceric ion acts as a strong oxidizer under acidic conditions. It is also used to prepare spherical-like nanoparticles CeO2, nanoparticles for NO reductions′ reactions.

Solubility
Soluble in water and dilute sulfuric acid.

Notes
Store in cool place. Hygroscopic and moisture sensitive. Avoid moisture. Incompatible with strong reducing agents.
