Invitrogen™ CDK16 (PCTK1)/cyclin Y Recombinant Human Protein
CDK16 (PCTK1)/cyclin Y belongs to the cdc2/cdkx subfamily of the ser/thr family of protein kinases. Recombinant human CDK16 (107-end) and Cyclin Y (2-end) were co-expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using N-terminal GST tags.
Manufacturer: Invitrogen™ LSPV6381
CDK16 plays a role in signal transduction cascades in terminally differentiated cells, in exocytosis, and in transport of secretory cargo from the endoplasmic reticulum. CDK16 is ubiquitously expressed with the highest levels detected in the brain and testis. CDK16 also contained the gene coding for ubiquitin-activating enzyme UBE1 that previously shown to mapped to Xp11.3.
