BD BBL Mueller Hinton II Agar, Cation-Adjusted; 2.26g; Dehydrated culture media; For antimicrobial susceptibility testing of microorganisms by agar diffusion methods
Mueller Hinton Agar was originally developed for the cultivation of pathogenic Neisseria. It is recommended for antimicrobial disc diffusion susceptibility testing of common, rapidly growing aerobic pathogens. Unsupplemented Mueller Hinton agar is not adequate for more fastidious organisms such as S. pneumonia.
- Tested according to, and meets the acceptance limits of, the current M6 protocol published by the CLSI.
- Complies with requirements of the World Health Organization and is specified in the FDA Bacteriological Analytical Manual for food testing.
