Applications
In many of the reactions, organozinc compounds appear as intermediates. Some of the synthetic uses of organozinc compounds are: for the stereo selective alkylation reaction of cyclic ketones, conjugate addition reaction to alpha, beta-unsaturated carbonyl compounds, ring opening reactions of epoxides and oxo vanadium-induced ligand coupling of aryltrimethyl zincates.
