Description
Applications2-Chloropyrimidine is a useful reagent in the preparation of antivirals and other biologically active compounds. It was used in the synthesis of 4′-(1,1′-(5-(2-methoxyphenoxy)-[2,2′-bipyrimidine]-4,6-diyl)bis(1H-pyrazol-3,1-diyl)) dianiline fluorescent dye, biosensor for protein assay, 2-amino-4-heteroarylpyrimidines, cis- and trans-octahydropyrrolo[2,3]pyridine derivatives.
Solubility
Slightly soluble in water. 33.3 mg soluble in 1 mL of alcohol.

Moisture sensitive. Store under inert gas. Store away from moisture, oxidizing agents. Store in refrigerator.
