Applications
Dihydroxybenzoic acids are used as intermediates for pharmaceuticals and other organic synthesis. Used as matrix for ionization of peptides, proteins and carbohydrates. In industrial field used for resins, polyesters, plasticizers, dyestuffs, preservatives, and rubber chemicals. It is also used as is a selected phenol as MMP (Matrix Metalloproteinase) inhibitor.

Solubility
Soluble in water, methanol and dimethyl sulfoxide.

Store away from strong oxidizing agents. keep container tightly closed. Store in cool, dry conditions in well sealed containers.
