Applications
1-Vinylnaphthalene is used as a precursor of polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons in tobacco smoke. It is also used as pharmaceutical intermediate.

Soluble in ethyl acetate, hexane and methanol.

Moisture sensitive. Incompatible with oxidizing agents, heat, light, ultraviolet radiation and free radical initiators.
